Day 37 – Your best


I’m just showing up tonight.  This is the best that I can do right now.  I’m done and ready to call it a night.  Sometimes just showing up is the best thing that you can do.  And that’s quite alright if you ask me because in the end, you showed up.  You made the effort.  You stuck with it.  That says something in itself.  It’s impossible to be ‘on’ all the time.  So when you’re almost done, and contemplating packing it in, think about this: Be your best.  Whatever “being your best” means to you, in this moment.  For me, tonight, it’s showing up.  You never know what you’re going to gain or who you’re going to help, just by showing up.

  1. Jenn, that was just what I needed to hear today… be your best, and sometimes just showing up is ok! I have been struggling with a few of my fitness goals, and there is nothing I hate more then not being good at something, especially when I want it so badly. But sometimes all I can do is be my best, and sometimes that is just showing up.. THANK YOU!
