Day 19 – Beauty Is…

This was the theme of our yoga class today. What an amazing feeling it was to be a part of the moment we created. We started the morning off, after a well enjoyed coffee near the beach of course, by encouraging everyone who walked by the Lululemon store to write on our window which we titled ‘Beauty is…’. It felt good just being in the presence of so many inspiring words and so many inspired people. One of my favorites was an older man who wrote ‘my love-love’ referring to his wife who was standing next to him. Other words included: courage, pretty painted toenails, love, art, music, natural self, spirit, confidence, real,… So many inspiring things to say!

After filling the window with beauty, wetook our new found inspiration to the beach to teach some yoga. We had a fair amount of people who were passing by just join in. I was smiling for the majority of the class. It felt so good and so right. I taught portions of my very first class with melissa’s help and encouragement. Thank you for that! I loved it. I feel that I have so much to say and now that I’m following what my heart wants, I have the courage to say it. Yoga is one of the perfect ways for me to allow myself to be heard and to inspire. I’m so grateful to have found it. I can thank Lululemon for this gift of yoga. Thank
you! And thank you to the Cottesloe lulu girls for the UV protectant shirt. We love them!!!

After the class we hopped in Sun Set and headed south en route to Margaret River. My throat hurt from yelling songs at the top of our lungs. If you haven’t ever done this with a friend on a roadtrip, get on it all ready and start singing!! One of my favorite parts of roadtrips are the fun times in the car before you even get anywhere.

Beauty is watching this beautiful sunset on new years eve with one of my bestest sitting beside me, in Western Australia. I don’t know if I’ve seen anything so beautiful before.

Beauty is saying what you need to say and letting yourself be heard.

Beauty is doing what your heart wants no matter what anyone else thinks.

Beauty is living in the moment and being grateful for each and every breath.

Today was a day full of beauty, even in the quiet moments. Beauty is EVERYWHERE, we just have to open our eyes.

Happy New Years Eve!!!  Good bye to a challenging but rewarding and beautiful year. Bring on 2011!!!

Smile with your heart!!
